Daydreaming - Full Time Vegetarian | Dagdrømme - Fultids Vegetar


I've mentioned in a past post that I've went full time vegetarian, it wasn't a hard decision but also something I've thought about for a while. For the past half year or so I've been eating more and more vegetarian food, starting to completely cut meat from my eating, until I finally did. In that way it also made it easier for me. Not that the first two weeks weren't hard, I had to find new things to bring for lunch, make for dinner and where and what to eat when out.
But now one and a half month later I've grown quite fond of this eating habit of mine. I've never ate so varied as I do now! Almost daily I try out something new, and often it's something I would love to eat again!
The hardest part so far has actually been to eat enough. I'm fine with all the protein, fat and carbs I'm supposed to get, but the calories is way to few... It was never my intention to loose weight when doing this, so eating more side to side with my workouts has been hard, but I'm starting to get into better habits of doing so.
The course that drove me into this lifestyle was not only the health benefits, but also the impressive changes it makes for the environment with a plant-based diet. I'm not on a fully plant-based diet but I'm trying to do my share for this course.
But in the end it's also to prove something to myself. That I am stubborn and my willpower is strong enough to keep this going. I really believe in the benefits of this, and I will prove it to myself only!

Jeg nævnte i et tidligere opslag, at jeg er blevet fultids vegetar, det var ikke en svær beslutning, men også en jeg har tænkt på et stykke tid. Det sidste halve år eller lignende har jeg spist mere og mere vegetarisk mad, begyndte på at skære kød helt ud af min mad, indtil jeg helt gjorde det. På den måde gjorde det det nemmere for mig. Ikke at de første par uger ikke var svære, jeg skulle finde nye ting at tage med til frokost, lave aftensmad og hvor og hvad jeg skulle spise ude.
Men nu halvanden måned senere er jeg faktisk blevet glad for denne spisevane. Jeg har aldrig spist så varieret, som jeg gør nu! Næsten dagligt prøver jeg noget nyt, og ofte er det noget jeg ville elske at spise igen!
Den sværeste del har faktisk været at spise nok. Det går fint med al proteinen, fedt og kulhydraterne, som jeg skal få, men kalorierne er alt for få... Det var aldrig min intention at tabe mig ved at gøre dette, så at spise mere ved siden af min træning har været svært, men jeg er begyndt at komme ind i bedre vaner for at gøre det.
Det der fik mig til at vælge denne livsstil var ikke kun sundhedsfordelene, men også de imponerende forandringer det gør for miljøet med en plante-baseret diæt. Jeg spiser ikke fuldt ud plante-baseret, men jeg prøver at gøre min del for denne sag.
Men når alt kommer til alt så prøver jeg at bevise noget for mig selv. At jeg er stædig og min viljestyrke er stærk nok til at holde dette. Jeg tror virkelig på fordelene ved det, og jeg vil kun bevise det for mig selv!
